Safe settings that help first
Steam reviews mention stutter even when the average FPS looks fine. The goal is stable frame pacing, not only a high counter.
- Lower shadows, reflections, post-processing, and effects before texture quality.
- Use borderless windowed if you alt-tab, stream, or use overlays.
- Cap FPS to 60 or 90 if uncapped FPS produces spikes.
- Close browser tabs, launchers, downloads, and recording tools during the first test.
